The orchestra consists of a core of approximately 45, mainly amateur musicians from the local area and Stirling University.
We are currently looking for strings
and all brass. At present we do not need woodwind players.
However, any interested players should contact the number below.
Membership of the Orchestra is open to any competent musician who thinks that he/she can manage the programmes undertaken. Potential new recruits are normally invited to a rehearsal to meet orchestral members and to gauge the standard required. This standard is generally agreed to be at about Associated Board Grade 6/7.
Membership charges for the 2008/2009 season are as follows:
